Broncos blueliner Colby Sissons was a late addition to Team WHL for last night's game in Swift Current against Russia in the CIBC Super Series.

Sissons is the league's fourth-highest-scoring defender so far this season, and said it was a new feeling playing with Team WHL.

"Just kind of being the outsider walking into the room was a little different," said Sissons. "Being in my home barn and not feeling comfortable was a little bit of a different feeling, but I mean, there's a lot of good guys in that room. They were all very accepting of me coming in. They might have got a little bit of a head start [Monday] night, but it felt good."

Sissons has 18 points in 15 games, and had one shot on goal last night.

The Broncos are in Saskatoon Friday before hosting Lethbridge Saturday.
