The Broncos host the Medicine Hat Tigers to get the first-round series underway tonight.

The Broncos have had a week lead-up to the series, and finally get on home ice to open up the best-of-seven affair.

"We match up pretty good with them.  They have a couple talented guys on the back-end; good, solid veteran goaltender, and I think they have three skilled lines.  I think we match up well with them," commented Defensman Eric Doyle after practice on Thursday.

The teams split the four-game season series at two wins apiece.  Each team won both at home and on the road.

The Broncos won eight of their last nine games to close off the season, including six straight wins on home ice.

Tickets for Games 1 and 2 are still available at the Broncos office.  Pre-game festivities begin at 5:00pm with the playoff BBQ.  Face-off is at 7:30pm, and you can catch all of the action on the Eagle 94.1FM beginning with the pre-game show at 7:00pm.
