The Swift Current-based Rod Quintin rink is off to the Saskatchewan Senior Men's Provincial Curling Championship.

Quintin earned one of four qualifying spots over the weekend at the Senior Men's South Qualifier in Outlook.

The Swift Current Curling Club rink went 4-2.

They earned wins over Team Walter (7-4), Team Weppler (7-6), Team Harrison (7-6), and Team Weppler again (7-4).

Their two losses came when they conceded a match 9-1 to Team Franko, and another conceded contest (7-2) to that Team Walter rink.

Meanwhile, fellow Swift Current-based Team Kirkpatrick went winless in Outlook, falling short of a qualifying spot.

Team Quintin now looks to Senior Men's Provincials in Melville from February 27 - March 3.
