The Raiders fell last night 4-1 to Notre Dame

The Kabos Bantam 'AA' Raiders are still searching for their second win of the season.

Playing host to the Notre Dame Hounds last night at the Fairview Arenas, the Raiders fell 4-1.

The Hounds jumped out in front late in the first period to take a 1-0 lead into the dressing room.

Notre Dame then added to their lead midway through the second period, making the score 2-0.

In the final frame however, the Raiders were able to build some momentum and get on the board.

Just under three minutes into the third, Raiders' forward Beau Larson scored his fourth goal of the season, cutting the Hounds lead to 2-1.

Unfortunately for Swift Current, it did not take long for Notre Dame to restore the two goal lead.

Just over a minute after Larson pulled the Raiders within one, the Hounds registered their third goal of the game.

Notre Dame then put the game away, scoring in the final minute.

Brad Nyen made 30 saves on 34 shots in the loss.

John Priela and Aiden Gunn both registered assists on the Larson goal.

The Raiders will now have an extended break from league play. They will be back in action on December 11 when they travel to Saskatoon.

Also on the ice last night, the Swift Current Pee Wee Rustlers hockey team picked up a victory.

The Rustlers downed the Herbert Hawks by a final score of 9-5.

Cohen Funk and Ashton Christianson both had strong games for Swift Current.

Funk registered four goals, while Christianson scored a pair.
