The Kabos Bantam Raiders and Weyburn Red Wings in action Saturday at the Credit Union iplex.

The season ended in heartbreaking fashion for the Kabos Bantam Raiders.

After making the playoffs on the final game of the season, the Raiders were swept by Weyburn in the first round of playoffs, losing game one of the best-of-three series 3-2 on Thursday, and game two 2-1 in overtime last night.

The Raiders are now looking ahead to next season, where nine players are eligible to return.

In other minor hockey playoff action, the Home Hardware Legionnaires were blanked 7-0 by the Prince Albert Mintos in game one of their Midget AAA league first round playoff series yesterday. Game two of the best-of-five series is today at 3:30pm from the Credit Union iplex.

The Diamond Energy Female Midget Wildcats also dropped their playoff opener yesterday, losing 11-1 to the Saskatoon Stars. Game two of the best-of-five is set for tomorrow night in Swift Current.

The Swift Current Pee Wee Kings were eliminated from Provincials last night with a 6-3 loss to Weyburn, who won the two-game total point series 11-4.

The Re/Max Midget A Wild will look to advance in their provincial series with Weyburn tonight, as they go into game two leading the total point 3-2. Face-off is at 6:00pm from the Credit Union iplex.
