Renauld Williams is a Rider – again.  The veteran linebacker, who started his CFL career with Saskatchewan in 2007, is back after two seasons with the Hamilton Ti-Cats.

Williams, a free agenct import, was named an East Division All-Star after recording 94 tackles, three sacks and one interception in eighteen games last year.  The native of Westbury, New York made 98 tackles, six sacks, five forced fumbles and an interception in 31 regular-season appearances in his first stint with the Riders (2007-2009).

The 32 year old Hofstra product missed the entire 2010 season after suffering an injury he sustained during training camp with the NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers.  In his nine year career, Williams has also suited up with the San Francisco 49ers, Miami Dolphins and Cleveland Browns.

On Monday, the Riders also announced that they have released import linebacker Joe Lobendahn.  Last season, the 30-year-old played nine regular season games after joining the team in August.
