Ken Miller coaches his last CFL game tonight

A "rough" Saskatchewan Roughrider season comes to an end tonight with their regular season finale in Edmonton.

Before heading to the "City of Champions", the Green and White held their final practice of the year at Mosaic Stadium on Wednesday.  There was a number of fans in the stands to take it in, which Head Coach Ken Miller says defines the special relationship the team has always had with Rider Nation.

"The fans in this entire province are special, and I'm going to miss interacting with them."

Miller announced his retired as head coach and Vice President of Football Operations earlier this week, and receiver Weston Dressler says they want to send Miller out in style.

"That's definitely on a lot of guys minds.  Being Coach Miller's last game as a head coach, we want to send him off right.  We want to go out and play as hard as we can for him and find a way to win the game."

Miller however says he doesn't want the players to win it for him, he wants them to win it for themselves.  "Really it's not about me, it's about the Riders, always has been about the Riders."

"I want them to win it for themselves and for each other.  I want to win the game, and if we win the game the credit will go to them," added Miller.

The Riders head into their final game of the season with a 5-12 record, and will miss the playoffs for the first time since 2001.

Kick off is at 7pm at Commonwealth Stadium.

The final week of the regular season opened last night with a 33-16 Toronto win over Hamilton.  The Argos will miss the playoffs for the third time in four years, while the Ti-Cats will head to either Montreal or Winnipeg next week for the East Semi Final.

The CFL season wraps up on Saturday with a double header, Winnipeg's in Calgary and Montreal is on the west coast to take on the Lions.
