Andy Fantuz could be back in the line-up for the Riders on Monday

The Saskatchewan Roughriders were back out on the Mosaic Stadium turf for a wet practice on Friday afternoon and after practice head coach Ken Miller gave another Darian Durant injury update.

"He's still day-to-day, but he has made some improvement and we'll make a decision (Saturday) about whether or not he practices and if he does practice, how much," Miller told reporters following practice.

"Darian will want to play if he's able to.  We'd like to get him some reps if he's able but we don't want to aggravate the injury."

The Riders who already face a long list of injuries heading into Monday's game in Edmonton, were dealt another scare during Friday's practice when Chris Getzlaf went down, Miller says it's nothing too serious, "He has a bruise on the knee and got a knee directly on that bruise so it was a very painful experience for him for a few minutes but it isn't going to aggravate the problem.  He'll be fine."

The Riders will practice again on Saturday morning at Mosaic Stadium, before heading to Edmonton on Sunday.  They kickoff from Commonwealth Stadium on Thanksgiving Monday at 2:30pm.

RIDER NOTES:  The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced Friday they have signed import offensive lineman Nerraw McCormack to the practice roster.

McCormack (6’5 – 302 lbs) played at Penn State where he spent the last four years. After going undrafted, the 25-year-old went on to spend time in the AFL and most recently spent time with Omaha in the UFL.
