It was another day of offensive futility for the Green and White as they took on the Montreal Alouettes.

The Riders failed to move the ball offensively in the first half and then proceeded to turn it over for most of the second half in a 37-12 loss to Montreal.

The loss is the Riders' third in a row and fifth in the last seven games as injuries, especially on offense, seem to be taking their toll.

Anthony Calvillo threw three TD passes as Montreal impvoved their record to 9-4 atop the East Division.  The Riders fall into a second-place tie in the West with BC at 8-5.

The Riders now play Calgary twice in back-to-back weeks.
