The Saskatchewan Roughriders avenged last week's heartbreaking loss to the Eskimos by beating them 23-20 in Edmonton yesterday.

Despite throwing three interceptions, Quarterback Darian Durant had a good game, making 23 of 33 passes, for 269 yards.  The defence came up big, too, with Rey Williams picking up a fumbled punt return for a touchdown in his first game back from injury.

The Rider win came in front of more than 62,500 fans, which was the largest crowd ever at Commonwealth Stadium.

The Green and White are 7-5, and are tied with Calgary for first place in the West Division as they visit BC on Friday.
