For the second game in a row, the Saskatchewan Roughriders went to overtime... but this time, there would be no tie.

The Green and White picked up the 33-30 win over the BC Lions in extra time at a sold-out Mosaic Stadium.

The Riders rallied from being eight points down late in the game, as they did a week ago against Calgary.  Quarterback Darian Durant connected with Johnny Quinn for a 29-yard touchdown pass, and then to Chris Getzlaf for the two-point convert to tie it up at 30-all.

Luca Congi nailed a field goal in the first overtime session to put the Riders up by three.  Then, in the next mini-game, Lions Quarterback Casey Printers tried an end-zone pass for the win, but it went into the hands of James Patrick for the game-ending interception.

Head Coach Ken Miller was simply relieved that the Riders got the overtime win, and felt it was fitting that it would end with the defense picking up the interception in OT.

The win clinches a playoff berth for the Riders, and moves them back into a tie with Calgary for 1st place in the West Division.  It also means that, when the Riders and Stampeders meet at Mosaic Stadium on November 7th, the game will determine who finishes first in the West, and who will host the West final.  The last time the Riders finished in first place was 1976.

The Riders head to Hamilton next Saturday, and a win there will guarantee a home playoff game.
