There was joy and excitement in Riderville this weekend.

The Riders tangle with the Tiger-Cats today at Mosaic Stadium, a game that comes two days after the Riders found out they will be having a home playoff game for the first time since 1988.

Scott Schultz says, as a hometown player, having the Riders end the home playoff drought means a lot to him.  However, as a professional, the focus is still on first place and the chance to host the Western Final.

Head Coach Kent Austin echoed those sentiments, saying first place is still available to them, and the big message to his team is to play their best football heading into the playoffs.

Kick-off is at 1:00pm.  The game is sold out and the television blackout has been lifted, so the game can be seen on TSN.
