The touchdown drought ended for the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Friday night, but they still couldn't find the win column, losing 25-13 to the Calgary Stampeders.

Quarterback Darian Durant scored from five-yards out in the second quarter to end the Roughriders touchdown drought at over 286 minutes and gave them the 10-7 lead.

That would just about end the scoring for the Riders on this night though, as a third quarter field goal from Chris Milo would be the only other points for the Green & White.

Durant left the game in the fourth quarter.  He was 20-for-30 passing with 209 yards and a pick.

Wes Cates and Brandon West split time in the backfield with each getting six carries. Cates had 19 yards, while West led the team with 39.

Weston Dressler surpassed the 1,000 yards receiving mark on the year with seven catches for 74 yards.

Drew Tate, who was making his first career CFL start, threw for 251 yards for the Stampeders in the win.  He had one touchdown and two interceptions.

The loss drops Saskatchewan's record to 4-12 on the year.  Calgary improves to 9-7.

The Riders return home on Saturday afternoon.  They get back on the practice field on Tuesday.  Saskatchewan wraps up their home schedule against Hamilton next Saturday.
