Excitement is building around the Saskatchewan Roughriders with the recent additions of star receiver Geroy Simon and new offensive coordinator George Cortez.
While making an appearance at the Swift Current Broncos game on Saturday, Riders guard Dan Clark expressed the vibe among the players.
"It's pure excitement. It sounds like we are going to have a furious offence and it's a team to be reckoned with."
Defensive Tackle Zach Evans said they've been heading in the right direction.
"I think we are getting there. I think we have a lot of work left to do to getting together but overall I think we made the right steps and I think we will continue on to go sky high."
Clark and other Riders will suit up Saturday, February 16th for the Rider Pride Hockey Challenge against members of the Swift Current Bronos Alumni.
The Broncos will also have an awards and alumni banquet that night.
