With the Labour Day Classic inching closer, the Saskatchewan Roughriders have added a local player to their practice roster.

Saskatoon product and 24 year old receiver Scott McHenry put his name on the dotted line with the Green and White Wednesday.  Financial terms were not released.

McHenry played 10 games last season with the Bombers, and was originally drafted 32nd overall by Calgary in the 2009 Draft.

He played for the University of Saskatchewan, where he had 125 receptions for 2104 yards and named to back-to-back East-West Bowls in 2007 and 2008.

The Riders practice today and tomorrow, Sunday they battle the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, 2pm at Mosaic Stadium.
