Carter Rigby is hearing the call of the Wild.

The recently graduated Swift Current Broncos forward will attend the Minnesota Wild's development camp next month.

Rigby will attempt to impress coaches and management for the NHL club while showcasing his talents against other drafted and undrafted young talent.

He recently committed to play Canadian university hockey for the University of P.E.I. next season, but a great camp with the Wild could potentially open some other doors for the Penticton product.

Rigby had 132 points in 226 WHL games including 37 in 55 games with the Broncos. He added 3 assists in 4 ECHL games with the Stockton Thunder after his WHL career was done.

Minnesota's development camp starts on July 7th.
