Unity's Justin Wood fell just one stroke shy of winning the Saskatchewan Men's Amateur Championship.

The golfer from the Elmwood Golf Club in Swift Current finished second, one shot behind Prince Albert's Martin Ring, who was even par for the tournament on his home track at Cooke Municipal. Wood and Ring were tied for the lead heading into Thursday's final round.

Jehremy Ryde of Swift Current finished in a tie for 30th while Shaunavon's Corey Bailey missed the third-round cut.
