It's a New Year's Eve classic against two old rivals.

Canada and Sweden will square-off today at the World Junior Hockey Championships, with a bye into the semi-finals on the line.

Canada will have to make do without first-line winger Jaden Schwartz at the World Junior Hockey Championship.  He's out for today's showdown with Sweden and for the rest of the tournament with a fractured left ankle.  Canada will also be missing winger Zack Kassian, who will serve the second game of a two-game suspension for a hit to the head.

Swift Current Broncos Captain Cody Eakin is still a question mark for Team Canada, after tweaking a hand injury in warm-up Wednesday night.

You can hear all the action from Buffalo on the Eagle 94.1, with the pre-game show at 2:30 and the play-by-play at 3:00pm.
