He's out for today's showdown with Sweden and for the rest of the tournament with a fractured left ankle. Canada will also be missing winger Zack Kassian, who will serve the second game of a two-game suspension for a hit to the head.
Swift Current Broncos Captain Cody Eakin is still a question mark for Team Canada, after tweaking a hand injury in warm-up Wednesday night.
