The 2018-19 WHL preseason schedule has been set for the Swift Current Broncos, with some familiar foes at the forefront.

The Broncos learned the route of their four-game schedule earlier this afternoon.

The Broncos open up the preseason August 31 in Regina against the Pats - a team who eliminated the Broncos from Memorial Cup play last month.

Game 2 of the annual Regina preseason tournament runs September 1 against the Saskatoon Blades.

Lastly, the Broncos close the preseason with a home-and-home with the Lethbridge Hurricanes on September 14 and 15.

Game 1 of the mini set will be played at the Enmax Centre in Lethbridge, with Game 2 the next night at the Innovation Credit Union iPlex.

The Broncos of course eliminated the Hurricanes in the Eastern Conference Finals in a gritty six-game series during their championship run.

The 2018-19 regular season schedule is set to be unveiled near the end of the month.
