Following up their first-ever Sask-Alta Baseball League championship, the Cabri River Rats were able to duplicate their winning ways over the weekend.

The River Rats were crowned Senior AA Tier 3 provincial champions in North Battleford.

Cabri went 2-1 in the round-robin, defeating the Meadow Lake Sox 11-2, falling 10-4 to the Unity Cardinals, and winning 7-4 over the host North Battleford Beavers.

Into the provincial semis, the Rivers Rats again defeated the Beavers 8-3 to advance to the provincial final.

There, Cabri managed to get revenge on Unity after their round-robin loss. Tyrell Olfert pitched a complete-game, as the River Rats won 3-1 over the Cardinals in the low-scoring provincial final.
