The Swift Current Broncos took one of their worst home ice losses of the season last night.

The Regina Pats scored four goals in the 2nd period to put the game out of reach as they skated to a 7-2 win.

The Broncos trailed 2-0 after one and never recovered.

Jeremy Schenderling and David Stieler scored in the loss while Bronco goaltenders Kyle Moir and Travis Yonkman shared duties in the net for the 4th straight game in which the Broncos have made a goaltending change midway through.

For the Pats, Myles Stoesz and Kaspars Saulities had a pair of goals each in the win.

It's the first time this season the Broncos have lost on either a Tuesday or Wednesday night.  They were 9-0 until last night's loss.

The Broncos host Spokane tomorrow night.
