Swift Current once again shone atop the leaderboard at the Taylormade ProAm tournament at the par-72 Moon Lake Golf and Country Club near Saskatoon.

For the second-straight year, an Elmwood Golf Club pro took the tournament title.

First it was head golf club pro Jeff Chambers in 2017, and after a strong second-round yesterday, fellow pro Brennan Rumancik clinched a victory at the 2018 edition.

Rumancik was the lone golfer to finish in red numbers, as he fired a tournament-best -3 (69) on Day 2 to close at -1.

He was four shots back of 18-hole leader Kevin Marushak, but the Silverwood Golf Club (Saskatoon) pro stumbled to the finish line with a final-round +4 (76) to sit at +2.

With the win, Rumancik earned early exemption into the field at the 2019 PGA Championship of Canada. It's a tournament he placed T27 at in the 2018 edition this spring, finishing as the top Saskatchewan pro in the field.

Meanwhile, Chambers finished the 2018 Taylormade ProAm one position lower than his 2017 win.

Elmwood's head pro fired a pair of 73s to sit in a two-way tie for second with Marushak at +2.
