Make it two straight wins and at least a point in four of their last five games for the K-Motel Midget 'AA' Broncos.

Jonas Sadden found the back of the net twice, which included the game winner late in the second period, as the Broncos defeated the Regina Vics 5-2.

For Sadden, the two goal game just added to his recent hot streak.

The Broncos forward has now extended his point streak to five games, which includes 7 goals and 6 assists over that span.

In Wednesday night's contest, it was Sadden putting the Broncos on the board first, when he buried a loose puck just outside of the crease.

Sadden's tally was the lone goal of the opening frame, however early in the second the Vics quickly swung momentum in their favour.

Exactly five minutes into the middle frame, the Vics put home a power-play goal tying the game 1-1, before taking the lead just 13 seconds later.

Despite the two quick goals, the Broncos were able to get back on even terms late in the period as J.C. Knight put home his first goal of the season, and although it appeared the game by heading to the second intermission in a 2-2 deadlock, Sadden had other ideas.

With 1:44 left in the period, Sadden scored his second goal of the game, giving Swift Current a 3-2 lead after two.

Another quick strike midway through the third period from the Broncos put the game out of reach for Regina.

Rhett Stevenson scored his team leading 13th goal of the season and Aaron Toews scored his third of the season 2:24 apart, putting Swift Current up 5-2.

In goal for the Broncos, Brad Nyen turned aside 27 of the 29 shots he faced to earn the victory.

Next up for Swift Current will be a trip to Lumsden on Friday to battle the Lions, as the Broncos go for their third straight win.
