Nova Scotia skip Jamie Murphy played like he belongs, winning his opening two games in his first appearance at the Tim Horton's Brier in Saskatoon.
Saskatchewan's Sott Manners opened with a win and after beating PEI are tied for second at 1 and 0 with Quebec, Alberta, Ontario, and Northern Ontario.
Manners will sit out this morning's draw and take on B.C.'s Jim Cotter this afternoon.
