For the second time this season, the Burstall Braves took down the defending champions in Sask-Alta league action.

Following a tight 6-5 win over the Richmound Rockets in their season opener, the Braves once again defeated Richmound last night, 2-0.

Also in action last night, it was a much higher scoring affair between Maple Creek and the Medicine Hat Vipers, as the Mohawks, got the better of Medicine Hat 13-12.

Rounding out last night's games in the Sask-Alta, the Gull Lake Greyhounds improved to 2-1 on the season defeating the Medicine Hat Black Sox 5-2.

In Dunning league action, the Hodgeville Heat were victorious over the Herbert Astros, scoring a 7-5 win and the Riverhurst Raiders won at home, downing the Morse Royals 6-1.

Sask-Alta league play will resume with three scheduled games on Saturday, while the Dunning league will pick up on Tuesday.
