Four Swift Current United soccer teams, as well as one BorderCreek United team were in action over the weekend playing in the Saskatoon-hosted Aurora Open.

The U15 Girls BorderCreek team, a combination of players from Lloydminster and Swift Current, went 2-1. Their lone loss came in the final - a 2-1 defeat at the hands of the FCR Blue Stars via a late penalty kick with four minutes left.

The U11 SC United boys went 3-0-1. Their third-and-final win came with a gold medal on the line - Swift handily won 4-1 over SUSC Arsenal in the final.

The U11 United Girls were in action, finishing with a 1-2-1 record.

Meanwhile, both U9 United teams played in the developmental tourney, where no standings are kept.

Of note, four SC United U15 girls played with QC United in the tournament, with the team compiling a record of 0-2-1.
