Swift Current Comp Curling will be among those representing the southwest at the Sask Winter Games in North Battleford this February 18-24.

Led by coach Ron Bailey, the curlers won the Southwest District play downs in Gravelbourg last weekend to clinch a berth in the winter games.

The southwest representative for the Sask Winter Games is Michael Orthner (lead), Quinn Doane (second), Grady Rogers (third), and Theo Lautsch (skip).

They, along with curlers from around the southwest corner of the province are prepping for SHSAA Southwest Curling Sectionals this weekend. The Comp team is headed to Gull Lake.
