The Shaunavon Shadows could be a SWAC football force this fall as the season nears.

The Shadows have been a contender the last few years and that trend looks like it will continue with the new season approaching.

Head Coach Tim Miller wouldn't go as far to say they are a favorite, just that they will be competitive within the SWAC 9-man league this fall.

The Shadows return most or all of their offensive unit from last season and should have experience on their side.

The SWAC league includes Shaunavon, Maple Creek, Assiniboia and Gull Lake.
