The Swift Current Broncos and Calgary Hitmen didn't want things to end last night, as the shootout to break a 3-3 tie would go nine rounds.

Finally, after 17 straight saves by either Travis Yonkman or Hitmen goaltender Martin Jones, Brendan Rowinski would score in the bottom of the ninth round to give Calgary a 4-3 win.

The Broncos have now lost all five shootouts they've been in this season, and are 2/27 in those scoring attempts.

Levi Nelson, Keegan Dansereau, and Brad Hoban scored for the Broncos, while Travis Yonkman made 39 saves in regulation and overtime to get his team at least a point.

The single point moves the Broncos into soul possession of first place in the WHL's East Division.
