A couple of Swift Current Broncos were late additions to the NHL Central Scouting rankings for this year's draft.

After going without being mentioned in previous rankings, defenceman Colby Sissons and forward Tyler Steenbergen joined defenceman Max Lajoie on the final list for 2016.

Sissons came in at 144th among North American skaters, while Steenbergen was 199th.

Lajoie dropped slightly from 41st in the midterm rankings to 44th this time.

The 18-year-old had been on all the watch lists and rankings from the start of the year as he is considered one of the WHL's best draft prospects.

He had a strong second half with 24 of his 37 points scored in the final 28 games of the season.

Sissons put up 22 points as a rookie defenceman with 19 of those 22 points coming after Christmas as he moved up the lineup.

Steenbergen scored 18 of his 20 goals after returning from the holiday break.

The NHL Entry Draft is set for June 24th and 25th in Buffalo, NY.
