Six SCCHS athletes are advancing to SHSAA Provincial Wrestling after notching top-four finishes at the Swift Current Comp gym this past Saturday.

e Ardens wrestler advancing, Aleah Nickel cruised to Gold in the 60kg Girls' division with a 3-0 record.

Also going undefeated in their respective division was Sebastien Marchand, who won Gold in the 73kg Boys' division.

A third unbeaten run for Swift Current pushed Luke Nelson to Regional Gold and Provincials in the 65kg Boys' division.

And, a Gold by default for Colt Cornelson in the Boys' 53kg, as he was the only athlete listed in the weight class.

An effort worthy of a Gold medal wasn't quite enough for Emmett Guider in the 77kg Boys' division, as he picked up Silver in a hard-fought final. Guider fell to Prince Albert St. Mary's Conley McLeod.

Lastly, Josh Keller was making an impact at the Comp, this time off the football field as the Colts' middle linebacker picked up Bronze in the 82kg Boys' division.
