Swift Current's Bobbi Jo Slusar and Team Canada faced little competition in the opener of the 12 Nations women's hockey tournament.
The team blasted Switzerland 16-nothing, with eight goals coming in the third period.
Slusar scored once and had a helper.
Jayna Hefford led Canada with a hat trick. She was one of 11 players to score in the rout.
Canada faces Russia tomorrow.
