The season is over for Maple Creek's Zack Smith and the Ottawa Senators.
They fell 6-2 to Pittsburgh in game 5 and lost their second round series 4-1.
The Senators pulled off an upset over Stewart Valley's Travis Moen and the Montreal Canadiens in the first round, but couldn't match the high powered Penguins.
Smith, a former Swift Current Bronco, had a goal and an assist in 10 playoff games for the Senators.
His elimination means the only local player left in the playoffs is Aneroid's Patrick Marleau.
Marleau's Sharks are down 3-2 in their series against the defending Stanley Cup Champion LA Kings.
