Soccer fields across Swift Current were once again in full use over the weekend, as the annual SouthWest SoccerFest held it's 20th tournament.

A total of 57 games took place over the three day event, which was split into eight divisions, and included 11 Swift Current United teams.

The U16 United Girls had the most success of the Swift Current clubs.

They won all four of their games to claim gold.

Picking up one win, while playing to three draws, the U10 United Girls won their three-team tournament.

Both the United Strikers and United Barbarians took part in the U10 Boys.

The Strikers won their first two games before losing to the Barbarians, who lost their first two matches prior to beating the Strikers.

The Under 12 Boys category also had a pair of Swift Current teams competing.

The Lightning went on to claim silver, and the Thunder finished with a 1-1-1 record.

The United Girls White and Red teams battled in the Under 12 age group.

The White team finished with a record of 3-1 to finish in second place, while the Red team went winless.

Finishing with two wins and two losses the U16 Boys found themselves in a three way tie for first, but placed third after the goal differential was tallied.

For the U14 Girls, they dropped all four of their games.

Lastly, U14 United Boys split their two exhibition contests.
