Sopel says he loves the game and tries to bring a lot of different things to the table. He has a big shot and prides himself on his shot blocking.

Sopel hopes he can return to Montreal as he felt it was a good fit.

The Habs have a lot of decisions to make on their back end with nine free agent defencemen.

Sopel went pointless in 12 regular season games after being traded from Atlanta to Montreal, but he scored once in the playoffs.

Moen had 16 points in 79 games with Montreal this season.
