An even dozen Bantam-aged players, either currently or formerly playing in the southwest, have cracked Saskatchewan Hockey Association's SaskFirst Top 160 list.

The 160 players selected will be competing at the Cooperators Centre in Regina from December 28-30. The list will then be trimmed down to 80 ahead of a mid-February tournament in Saskatoon.

The list of players are strictly second-year Bantam-aged kids, born in 2004:

South Region

Defense:

Carter Girodat (Gull Lake) - AP with the Bantam AA Broncos, appearing in one game.
Kane Klassen (Swift Current) - Has one goal and five points in eight games this season with the Bantam AA Broncos.
Orin Olson (Chaplin) - Former Bantam AA Broncos blueliner (nine assists in 31 games in the 2017-18 season), now playing with the Notre Dame Bantam AAA Hounds (three goals, seven points in 14 games).
Mckale Paul (Swift Current) - Notched four goals, 11 points in eight games with the Bantam AA Broncos.
Rylan Silzer (Swift Current) - Posted nine assists, ten points in eight games with the Bantam AA Broncos.

Forwards:

Rhett Dekowny (Swift Current) - Has two goals, ten points in eight games with the Bantam AA Broncos.
Dayne Feicht (Swift Current) - Has eight goals, 19 points in seven games with the Bantam AA Broncos.
Daniel Ganert (Fox Valley) - Has three goals, ten points in six games with the Bantam AA Broncos.
Colton Leahy (Gull Lake) - Has four goals, eight points in eight games with the Bantam AA Broncos.
Owen Wagner (Fox Valley) - Has two goals, three points in 11 games with the West Central Bantam AA Wheat Kings.
Brady Wilson (Swift Current) - Former Bantam AA Broncos forward (nine goals, 17 points in 28 games in the 2017-18 season), now playing with the Notre Dame Bantam AAA Hounds (four assists in 14 games).

Jaydon Jessiman (Lucky Lake) - Former Bantam AA Broncos forward (12 goals, 25 points in 31 games in the 2017-18 season), now playing with the Notre Dame Bantam AAA Hounds (5 goals, 10 points in 12 games).
