Speedy Creek racing is back for another season.
Unfortunately the season did not get off to the start they were hoping for.
"Mother nature didn't play well with us for our test and tune day," said Head of Media Relations Colin Johnston. "It's all engines ahead for the season opener on Sunday, May 13th. We're all gearing up. It will be a bit of a challenge. Nobody got to see what the cars will do before the season starts, but it will make it that much more interesting."
The SCRA is still entertaining the idea of having a test and tune on Wednesday night.
"We've got some guys that are coming back into the racing fold that have taken some time off," Johnston said. "The truck class is going to be growing. We've got anywhere from 7 to 9 trucks this year."
