The Swift Current Indians continue to gear up for the season, announcing today that three more players have committed to the team.
Catcher Taylor Steen will be back for a second season with the Tribe, and will be joined by rookies Manny Estevez and Hunter Owen. Steen, Owen and Estevez all play for the Indiana State University Sycamores, who are currently third in the Missouri Valley Conference standings at 27-12.
Steen batted .246 in the regular season and had a .409 average for the Indians in the WMBL playoffs last summer.
The regular season starts on May 29th with the home opener set for May 31st.
