The Great Plains College Sundogs Basketball Teams are nearing the end of their regular season schedule.
The Mens and womens teams dropped both of their games last weekend versus Ambrose and Prarie.
Head Coach of the men's squad Devin Leopky said while they lost the games were close.
“One was an eight-point game at halftime and the other was a six-point game through three quarters and they just got us in the fourth quarter. It was a little dissappointing but we gave them what we could and just came up a little short.”
Loepky adds while the mens team will not make the playoffs in the Alberta Colleges Athletics League they will be attending the Prarie Athletic Conference's Playoff tournament March 16th and 17th.
The men's team hosts Olds 2 tomorrow at 1:00 PM at Irwin School and then play the Millar Edge to wrap up the season on Wednesday while the women only have the Millar game left on their schedule.
