The Under 16 boys SunDogs volleyball team was in Regina this past weekend playing in a tournament and managed to take home the gold medal.
They started the day with back to back three set wins over Moose Jaw Element and the Regina Gold. They then took on Waldheim in the semi-final winning it in two sets.
In the final they once again met Regina Gold where they continued rolling and won in two straight sets 25-16 and 25-21.
The Sun Dogs now get set for this weekend's provincial tournament in Saskatoon where they enter as the top ranked team.
They have won three of four tournament they have entered this year and the one tournament they did not win resulted in a second place finish.
