The Great Plains College SunDogs Men's volleyball team opens up their regular season tonight and held an a luncheon yesterday at BodyFit Parking lot on Cheadle Street, to unveil the new team.
Full Interview with Travis Cuthbert"Really don't have much of an idea of what we are going to come up against, both from Millar and from all the other teams in the league," said Head Coach Travis Cuthbert. "It will just be fine tuning some of the things we have been working on in practice, and with the guys being a completely new group of guys here this year, we don't have a lot of overlap from last year so they're all learning to play with each other and learning the systems"
Player, Coach Jared Weins added that his team has an x-factor.
Full Interview with Jared Weins"I think chemistry is great because you can start out as a real good team but you start fighting amongst each other and it's tough to play a team sport like volleyball," said Weins. "With these guys they get along real well, they are always joking and giving each other encouragment so I think it's going to really play well into our hands this year."
