In SWAC basketball from last week, junior and senior league champs were crowned.

Joining the already-crowned Wymark junior girls were the SCCHS Grade 9 Colts (Jr Boys), Shaunavon Shadows (Sr Boys), and Shaunavon Silhouettes (Sr Girls).

The SCCHS Grade 9 Colts won the title in a 71-56 victory over Waldeck.

In an 85-72 win over the SCCHS Jr Colts, the Shaunavon Shadows took the title in front of the home crowd.

Nixen Voll led the way for the Shadows with 24 points. Austin Smith and Brett Kronberg added 17 each. The Colts top scorer was Bren Medina with 26 points and Austin Wiebe added 16.

Also on home court, the Shaunavon Silhouettes topped Herbert 65-51.

Jensen Piquette had 22 points for the Silhouettes while Kerrigan Stevenson added 20. The Laurels' top scorer was Jewel Jacobson with 14 followed by Olivia Peterson with 13.
