The Canadians out shot Sweden 53-27, but Sweden's 2006 Olympic silver medal heroine Kim Martin was up to the task.
Canada finished 4-2 while Sweden has a 5-1 record. There is no playoff round.
Swift Current's Bobbi-Jo Slusar played for Canada at the tournament. Shaunavon's Hayley Wickenheiser declined an invitation for family reasons.
