A nine-player southwest Female Midget (2001-02 born) contingent is off to Warman this Friday for the Female Midget SaskFirst Regional Camp.

Although not all from the southwest, all nine players find themselves playing in Swift Current this season.

The majority (eight) are logging ice-time with the Diamond Energy Female Midget AAA Wildcats, while a single representative from the Full Line Ag Female Midget AA Broncos cracked the SaskFirst roster as well.

Players and their respective squad at the four-team camp are as follows:


Defence

Madison Garrett (Kindersley) - Diamond Energy Wildcats / Team Black

Maddy McCleary (Swift Current) - Diamond Energy Wildcats / Team Gold

Ryleigh White (Warman) - Diamond Energy Wildcats / Team Gold


Forwards

Brynne Doerksen (Swift Current) - Diamond Energy Wildcats / Team White

Carissa Hogan (Rosetown) - Diamond Energy Wildcats / Team White

Crystal Wale (Moose Jaw) - Diamond Energy Wildcats / Team White

Mahteya Dumelie (Glentworth) - Swift Current Female AA Broncos / Team Black

Sara Kendall (Ponteix) - Diamond Energy Wildcats / Team Black

Kenedee Klevgaard (Swift Current) - Diamond Energy Wildcats / Team Black


The camp runs February 2-4, after which rosters will be trimmed down ahead of the SaskFirst Female Midget Tournament in Regina, which runs April 5-8.
