A power outage in Shaunavon forced the Saskatchewan Senior Men's Provincial Curling final between Brad Heidt and Eugene Hritzuk to the Credit Union iplex.

In the battle of the two former Provincial champions, Heidt edged Hritzuk 6-4, scoring three in the 8th end.  Hritzuk was the reigning Provincial, National and World Senior champion.

Heidt and his Kerrobert rink now advance to Nationals in Ottawa.

The power went out in Shaunavon just as teams were beginning their practice leading up to the 1st end.  After Sask Power said the delay would be at least an hour, the call was made to move the final to Swift Current.
