A trio of Swift Current ACT/UCT Stingrays won age group medals at the South semi-final swim meet in Gravelbourg this past weekend.

Once again, Talyah Cuthbert earned five first-place finishes for the 7-8 girls' category overall gold medal. She competed in the 50m Freestyle, 50m Breaststroke, 50m Backstroke, 25m Butterfly, and 100m Individual Medley.

Luke Nelson earned the 13-14 boys' silver medal. He finished first in the 100m Freestyle, second in the 50m Freestyle, 200m Freestyle, and 50m Butterfly, and third place in the 100m Breaststroke.

Lastly, Katie Hudec received the 13-14 girls' bronze medal. She placed second in four of her five races (100m Backstroke, 200m Backstroke, 100m Breaststroke, and 200m Breaststroke). She also finished third in the 200m Individual Medley.
