For a second straight season, the SWT Broncos are the South Saskatchewan Pee Wee 'AA' Hockey League champions.

Hosting the Estevan Bruins Monday night in game two of the best of three league championship series, the Broncos completed the sweep with a 5-1 victory over Estevan.

Leading the best of three series 1-0, Kalan Lind got the Broncos off and running in the second game with a pair of first period goals, giving Swift Current a 2-0 lead.

With 7:38 to go in the opening period, Estevan cut the lead to one, however, just under two minutes later Brady Wilson restored the Broncos two goal lead as Swift Current carried a 3-1 advantage into the intermission.

Once the second period began it did not take long for the Broncos to extend their lead.

54 seconds into the frame Jaydon Jessiman scored for Swift Current, increasing their advantage to 4-1.

Jessiman's goal was quickly followed up by Anthony Wilson, who scored just under two minutes later as the Broncos took full control leading 5-1.

Holding a 5-1 edge after two periods of play, Swift Current limited Estevan's chances in the third before getting to celebrate once the clock struck 00:00.

The entire Broncos roster threw their gloves into the air as they skated to their goalie, Rylan Hildebrand who picked up his 4th win of the playoffs in the game.

For Swift Current, they have now earned the honour to represent the South Saskatchewan Pee Wee 'AA' Hockey League in provincials, which is a feeling they are very familiar with.

Last year's team not only went on to win league, but provincials as well.

The Broncos will start their provincial run against the Regina representative.

On the other side of the bracket, the Saskatoon representative will take on the Warman Wildcats, who won the Centre Four Pee Wee 'AA' Hockey League.

Dates for the provincial series have yet to be announced.
