Tied 6-6 in double overtime, Brady Wilson put home a loose puck to clinch the SWT Broncos their second straight SHA Pee Wee 'AA' Provincial Championship.

The goal for Wilson was his 7th in his last three games, but none left him feeling as speechless as Sunday night's winner.

"I was really excited about it," Brady said.

"I don't know, man. I can't, I don't know what else to say."

Entering the third period, an overtime session, much less two, seemed like they would be unnecessary.

The Broncos entered the third holding a 6-2 advantage over the visiting Warman Wildcats, before Warman mounted a furious comeback.

Not quite three minutes into the last frame of regulation Warman scored to trim the lead to 6-3, before finding the back of the net just eight seconds later to narrow the gap to two.

Swift Current was able to nurse their 6-4 lead for a little over ten minutes, but then the Wildcats quick strike offence struck again.

With 5:03 left in the period, Warman pulled within one goal and then tied the game just 27 seconds after.

"The message was just dig deep, take a drink and lets get after it, boys," Broncos Head Coach Jason Silzer said of the message he gave his team following the tying goal.

"I had some tired guys, I was leaning on some guys pretty good that were tired but they battled through. The boys deserved it."

Swift Current had jumped out in front early on with four first period goals from Dayne Feicht, Rylan Silzer, Jaydon Jessiman and Kalan Lind.

In the second, Warman had trimmed the lead to 4-2, but the Broncos responded with a pair of goals.

Jessiman tallied his second of the game, before Keynan Cairns pushed the lead to 6-2.

Regardless how they got there, Silzer was just happy to have reached the finish line as provincial champions for the second straight year.

"It's a feeling that will never get old, that's for sure," he said.

"It's very rewarding, we had a long year playing well over 60 games. The boys worked hard, they know what it takes and it just feels awesome."

The SWT Broncos Head Coach also added he wasn't surprised to see the provincial clinching goal come off of the stick of Wilson.

"Brady never quits, the kid is unreal," he said.

"He has a heart for the game and what he did for us in the playoffs is unreal. I'm so happy that he got the winner, because he has been coming up big for us."

For Wilson, he was just simply wanting to leave it all out on the ice.

"I was just trying to do my best out there and we were able to win and get the W's," he said.

The provincial championship capped off an incredible run for the SWT Broncos.

They lost just one game all regular season in the South Saskatchewan Pee Wee 'AA' Minor Hockey League.

They then went on to win the league in playoffs, only losing one game in the post-season, before going a perfect 4-0 in provincials.
