Off to a 10-0 start in league play, the SWT Pee Wee Broncos had a weekend off from the South Saskatchewan Minor Hockey League, but were still winning elsewhere.

The Broncos spent the weekend in Prince Albert taking part in the Knights Pee Wee 'AA' tournament.

Swift Current started the event with a close 5-4 victory over the Martensville Marauders.

Three Broncos rounded out the scoresheet for Swift Current.

Daniel Ganert scored twice and had an assist, Kalan Lind netted a pair of goals and Jaydon Jessiman finished with a goal and an assist.

In thier second game, taking on the Saskatoon Mission, the Broncos scored four first period goals, however, it was not enough as they fell 5-4 to the Mission.

Ganert, Jessiman and Lind once again found the back of the net, while Brady Wilson scored his first goal of the tournament.

Swift Current quickly bounced back from the loss though, rolling past the Humboldt Broncos 8-1.

Wilson tallied a hat-trick and an assist in lopsided victory, Lind had two goals and three assists and Jessiman finished with two goals and an assist.

After getting back into the win column, the Broncos then battled the home town Knights.

A hat-trick from Lind and goals from Jessiman and Rylan Williams led Swift Current best Prince Albert 5-3, punching their ticket to the tournament final.

Taking on Warman in the championship game, the Broncos scored four third period goals en route to a 6-4 victory.

For the second staight game, Lind put home three goals.

Dayne Feicht, Wilson and Jessiman rounded out the scoring for Swift Current.

Fresh off of the tournament win, the Broncos will return to league action on Saturday when they host Estevan.
