The SWT Pee Wee Broncos continued their strong season over the weekend, winning their home tournament.
The Broncos began the 12 team tournament with a pair of wins in pool play sending them to the semi-finals against the Saskatoon Kodiaks.
Taking on the Kodiaks, Swift Current punched their ticket to tournament final with a 5-3 win.
In the final, the Broncos would take on the Medicine Hat Hounds, a team Swift Current defeated in the final of Medicine Hat's home tournament earlier this season.
Much like the final in Medicine Hat, the Broncos once again came out on top, as Swift Current picked up a 3-1 victory over the Hounds to claim the gold medal.
The Broncos will return to league action this weekend when they host the second place Melville Millionaires on Saturday and Sunday.
